Jim Henson

Jim Hensonwas an American puppeteer best known as the creator of The Muppets. He was bornin Greenville, Mississippi in September24, 1936 and died at May 16, 1990. He was the younger of two boys and he wasborn as a Christian. Jim Henson was the son of Betty Marcella (néeBrown) and Paul Ransom Henson; He attends NorthwesternHigh School in 1954. Later he got education fromUniversity of Maryland, College Park, which is known for the widest range ofpuppets in history.

Jim Henson in which Jim is the short from of“James Maury” performed in manytelevision programs and he is a very famous puppeteer. His famous showsare Sesame Street and the Muppet Show and movies are The Muppet Movie and The Great MuppetCaper. He used the new technology and created the advanced puppet for FraggleRock, The Dark Crystal, and Labyrinth. He becomes famous forhis puppets, as well as got an Oscar-nominated film director, EmmyAward-winning television producer. But the luck is not with him. Later he diedof Streptococcus pyogenes on May 16, 1990. He was the founder of The JimHenson Company, the Jim Henson Foundation, and Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

He got famous due to his work there andfurther selected for the sesame street. He also got a chance to participate inSaturday Night Live. Jim Henson never thought that he would become so famousbecause of his puppets. He just started this all to getting himself ontelevision. The Muppet show comes out from the sesame street. This showfeatures the Muppets created by Henson. Jim received the Courage of ConscienceAward from The Peace Abbey. And later on June 16, 2011 received the DisneyLegends Award.

He created the creature shop that becomes famous for being as luminous withpuppetry as ILM was at special effects. He died at the very wrong time when hewas at the height of his popularity. He was one of the geniuses of puppetry. Hegot success in his life but get defeat from his death. His story teller thatbecomes so much famous because of his retaining his social sense of right andwrong and creative honesty as his work in endorse conservationism and hisbrilliant.

Every one has dreams and his objective was to become the individual who madea difference in this world. He said that, “myhope still is to leave the world a little bit better for my having been here.It's a wonderful life and I love it.” More he said that, “Despite this discussion of things spiritual- I still think of myself as a very 'human' being. I have the full complementof weaknesses, fears, problems, ego, and sensuality. But I think this is whywe're here - to work our way through all this, and, hopefully, come out a bitwiser and better for having gone through it all.”

He knows that he has a purpose to something and he knows that he was herefor some special work and he also believes that every one is here for somework.  But he wants every one to know orto find out the real cause of their creation. He knows what he wants to do. He saidthat you need to keep in mind the real cause of your creation and the rightpurpose to start going towards there destiny. I consider that life is essentiallya process of growth - which we go through many lives, choosing situations andproblems that we will learn through.

Henson moved with his wife to New York City. They started the new Muppets Inc.later he hired writer Jerry Juhl and puppeteer Frank Oz. Jim started partnership with both of them which lasted for 27 years. Their collaboration is chieflyobvious in their depiction of the characters of Bert and Ernie and Kermit and FozzieBear.
